Adding Items to the Loot Locker

The Loot Locker is your prize inventory. It's where you can store names, descriptions, photos and inventory of any items, premiums or services you want to give away. 

The Loot Locker is NOT where you build and configure the contest. It's just the inventory and storage. 

**Mixer Method** It's always a good idea to load items into the Loot Locker as soon as they are available. It doesn't matter if you know how or when you'll give them away. Putting them in the Loot Locker in advance will save you time later!

Loading an item is quick and easy. Here are the steps (for a video tutorial of this process, click here):

1. Login. If you manage an Organization or multiple Locations, be careful to select the appropriate Organization or Location before entering your items. If the item might be used in contesting at multiple locations, put it in the Organization Loot Locker.
   
   
   
   
2. Click the "Loot Locker" link on the left-hand navigation panel. 
   
   
3. Now, look for "Create Loot Item" on the right side. Enter a name of the item, the estimated retail value, and click "Save." The new item will appear in the list. Click the title of your newly created item to finish configuring it.
4. On the "Detail" tab, you may optionally add a description. This is a good place to include any details that may not be made clear by the name of the item.
   
   
   
   
5. Click "Save" before navigating away from the Detail tab. Now click the "Photos" tab. Here, you can either use the "Upload" button to upload an image from your hard drive, or you can use the "Asset Library" button to insert an image already stored in your Asset Library. 
   
   You can put multiple images on a Loot Locker item.
   
   
6. Next, click the "Allocations" tab. This is where you configure the quantity. Use the "+" or "-" buttons to increase or decrease the quantity available. Or, if it's a bigger number, tap the keyboard icon and manually input the quantity.
   
   Be sure to click the "Save" button. When you do, you'll notice the number of available items will change to reflect your input. 
   
   Allocation represents the number of items that are currently assigned to contests. Initially, this will be zero, but as you build contests and attach this item, that number will update accordingly.
   
   
   
   
7. This item is now in the Loot Locker and ready to be attached to a contest! Repeat these steps to add your next item.
