MIXER generates QR codes and unique URLs for all sweepstakes. You will need this information to be able to easily share access to these sweepstakes with non-members. QR codes can be printed on print assets, displayed on monitors or iPads, etc. And the URL can be attached to clickable banners, shared on social media channels or included in e-blasts.
**Note that although these are tools meant to share sweepstakes with non-members, members can also access sweepstakes through these same tools, and their interactions will be updated and displayed to them the next time they log in to their profile.
There are a few places throughout MIXER where QR codes and their associated URLs are visible, so which one do you use?
Most often, you want the QR code that is associated with the Campaign Effort.
See the image below, and note the red rectangles.
Let's look at the steps to find this screen.
- In the left-hand navigation panel, click "Efforts."
- Click on the Effort for which you want to provide access.
- The Effort will open, and you'll be on the default "Edit" tab. Look below the Edit tab and find the "Form" and "QR Code" tabs.
- Click the QR Code tab.
Now let's identify a few elements on the screen. The QR code can be easily downloaded, just by clicking it. You have some sizing options, so if you plan to incorporate the QR code in to print assets, select a size accordingly.
Note the URL at the bottom. This is the URL that you can use behind clickable banners on your website, social media posts and inclusion in email. This URL will take a user to the same site that the QR code points to.
