When creating a sweepstakes with the H-D® Dealer Promo Tool, map out your timeline in advance. You have options! Here are a few things to remember as you plan:
- You can attach multiple contests to a single Campaign Effort. In the diagram below, there is a six week Campaign Effort. Customers can earn entries towards the Grand Prize for the entire six weeks. They can also earn entries towards Supplemental Prize 1 during weeks 2 and 3, and Supplemental Prize 2 during weeks 3 and 4. So the supplemental prizes are structured in such a way as to incentivize repeat engagement over the course of the six weeks.
- The length of the Effort may impact your Total Entries. A very short Effort may only need a single entry, or a small number. A longer effort may need a higher number, which helps encourage customers to return repeatedly to maximize their number of entries. For more on total entries, read this short article.
- Whether your Effort is a single day or many weeks, you have control over the start and end dates and times of every contest and every keyword. You may choose to keep it simple and make them all the same, or you may be strategic and activate certain contests and certain keywords only during specific periods of your Effort.
